This template places a book in a subcategory of Category:Books by completion status for users wanting to browse books by how far along they are and should be placed on a book's main page.
It also places a visual icon representing a book's completion state in the top-right corner of the book's main page. If you wish to suppress this icon's display, add a second parameter noicon to the template, as in Skabelon:tlx.
